Derrius Guice, LSU

Derrius Guice has become a standout since the 2016 season at LSU. Despite playing behind Jacksonville Jaguars superstar Leonard Fournette, Guice was able to make a name for himself. In 2016, Guice posted 1,387 yards and 15 touchdowns in 12 games. Then he followed up his impressive breakout year with another outstanding season where he put up 1,251 yards along with 11 touchdowns.

It’s safe to say that Guice is easily one of the best running backs to enter into this stacked draft. With that being said, the Eagles will most likely have to pay up big for Guice. As of right now, Guice is expected to be chosen within the first two rounds. In other words, there is a pretty good chance that Guice falls to the 32nd pick on draft night.

Will the Eagles strike and grab Guice in the first round? Well, do not rule it out. Guice was the one and only running back to pay the Eagles a visit at the Nova Care Complex in Philadelphia recently. Obviously, there is more time to go before the draft for things to change. But as of right now, the Eagles seem very interested in Guice. With Jay Ajayi on a contract season, there’s no telling if the Eagles will be able to afford to bring him back. So don’t rule out the Eagles finding their future number one back in Guice early on in the draft.
