The question is simple and definitely worth discussing. Should the Philadelphia Eagles release Michael Bennett?

Act One: How did we get here?

The sheer joy that overwhelmed Philadelphia Eagles fans after learning that they had added Michael Bennett has been replaced by the horrifying notion that they may have to walk into the 2018 season without him.

You’ve probably heard the news by now. One of the Eagles newest additions and, no doubt, their most talked about acquisition of the 2018 off-season is in the news for the wrong reasons. For him, it isn’t the first time. Much of the Eagles fan base hoped a new start in a new city might do the trick. Maybe he could shed the reputation that’s often followed him and possibly help lead the 2018 version of the Eagles to another deep playoff run.

Well, unfortunately, those dreams may be on hold, at least where Bennett is concerned. He’s been charged with injuring an elderly paraplegic woman. Almost instantly, the Eagles fan base began their biggest debate in quite some time. Should the three-time Pro Bowl selection be released?
