As the NFL Draft approaches, a ton of interest is growing in what one of the Philadelphia Eagles’ biggest rivals, the New Giants, is going to do.

There are two things we’ve come to notice about NFL Mock Drafts. They’re just like NCAA March Madness tournament brackets. They’re almost irresistible, but no one truly expects any of them to be completely accurate. Some have the Philadelphia Eagles taking a tight end at pick 32. Some have them addressing a defensive need. Others have them trading out of the first round of the 2018 NFL Draft entirely.

With that being said, why do we even pay attention to mock drafts? Well, the answer is simple. They’re just a ton of fun and give us something to argue about (just like tournament brackets).

Fans and every NFL franchise aren’t just watching their own teams. They’re watching their rivals as well.

There’s just something about those New York Giants. Sure, the Eagles hate the Cowboys, but they hate the Giants just as much. It’s a different type of angst, yet it’s still just as intense.

New York won a mere three games in 2017, but they also gave Philly two of their toughest games. When everyone seems to think about the NFC East, there isn’t a football fan on the planet who’s counted this team out for the 2018 campaign. Why? They have a future Hall of Fame quarterback in Eli Manning. They have a new head coach in Pat Shurmur. In the upcoming NFL Draft, they also hold the second-overall selection.

If they nail it in the annual selection meeting. New York could be back in the thick of things in the upcoming NFL season. Here are a five possible scenarios to get them started:
