How did the Philadelphia Eagles do with their five new selections of rookies in the 2018 NFL Draft?

We are finally one step closer to beginning the 2018 NFL Season. With the 2018 NFL Draft all wrapped up, rookies are starting to get familiar with their new teams. Not including undrafted free agents, the Philadelphia Eagles are welcoming in five new rookies that they spent draft picks on this past weekend.

Heading into the draft, the Eagles were in great shape. Obviously, the Super Bowl champions were looking to draft players to come in and fill depth and develop, rather than relying on rookies to become day one contributors.

This past Thursday night, the Eagles started off with only one selection within the first three rounds. But after some patience during opening night, general manager Howie Roseman sold the 32nd overall pick for a second-rounder and some change. By the end of the draft, the Eagles selected five new rookies to join the team. So how did Roseman, Joe Douglas, and the rest of the front office staff do with this year’s round of selections?
