Here’s a list of the undrafted free agents the Philadelphia Eagles added after the 2018 NFL Draft.

Whenever Philadelphia Eagles fans hear the phrase undrafted free agent, they’ll probably now all think of one of the most recent, running back Corey Clement. His is a story that won’t be the last of its’ kind, but thanks to his performance in Super Bowl LII, one that helped deliver ‘The City of Brotherly Love’ its’ first Lombardi Trophy, Eagles fans will now look at every undrafted free agent with the hope that he might be that diamond in the rough.

Once upon a time, the Minnesota Vikings found John Randle after the 1990 NFL Draft was over. He played his way all the way to Canton, Ohio. While no one of that stature probably exists in the Eagles current crop of undrafted free agents, it is nice to dream.

Here’s a complete list of undrafted free agents who have been added to the Eagles’ roster:

Josh Adams, running back

Jeremy Reaves, safety

Toby Weathersby, offensive lineman

Bruce Hector, defensive tackle

Chandon Sullivan, cornerback

Wesley Horky, long snapper

Kyle Bolin, quarterback

Ray Bolden, receiver

Marloshawn Franklin, cornerback

Joe Ostman, defensive end

Stephen Roberts, safety

Danny Ezechukwu, linebacker

J.T. Thomas, cornerback

Aaron Evans, offensive lineman

Troy Pelletier, receiver

Anthony Mahoungou, receiver

Brandon Addison, cornerback

Brandon Silver, quarterback

Conclusion:

Keep an eye on Hector, Weathersby, Reaves and Adams. They may all be longshots, but with the Eagles need at running back, Adams could be a welcome addition to a team that doesn’t appear to be in love with the last two running backs they drafted, Wendell Smallwood and Donnel Pumphrey.

Reaves may work for a team that needs options at safety. Hector won’t beat Fletcher Cox, Timmy Jernigan and Haloti Ngata out, but he could have some nice battles with the likes of Elijah Qualls, Aziz Shittu, Winston Craig and Destiny Vaeao once training camp begins.

Next: Eagles quietly add a very good edge rusher

Weathersby has a shot of making the team over the likes of Matt Pryor and Jordan Mailata. Teams aren’t put together in May. We have a long way to go, but by the looks of things, they’ll be a lot to pay attention to come the preseason.
