ESPN names 6 Philadelphia Eagles who will shape 2018’s season
Philly’s actually got two quarterbacks on this list.
These days, it feels as though there’s no shortage of quality signal callers on the Eagles’ roster. As great as Wentz’s sophomore campaign was, it ended with four games left on the regular season schedule.
Fortunately for Philadelphia, they had two Super Bowl-level quarterbacks on the roster. Nick Foles took the reigns and led ‘The Birds’ to a world championship. Here’s what ESPN’s Dan Graziano feels about the man who might actually be under center if Wentz isn’t ready to go:
"Backup quarterbacks who could make a difference Nick Foles, Eagles: I know. Duh, right? How long did it take you to come up with that one? Dude just won Super Bowl MVP. Obviously he can make a difference, and with Wentz working his way back from December knee surgery, the odds appear strong that Foles will have to open the season as the starter and play a few games."
The Eagles also have a couple of offensive weapons at the skill positions (if you haven’t heard). One was so skilled, he made the list.
