The NFL is home to some of the best athletes in the world. In the case of the Philadelphia Eagles, many of these guys were two-sport athletes.

Well, the NBA Playoffs have drawn to a close. The Cleveland Cavaliers and the Golden State Warriors met again, and in the end, the Warriors were again crowned as the champions of the National Basketball Association. No one saw that coming, huh? Thank goodness for the NFL and the Philadelphia Eagles.

Now, our attention can turn completely back to football (for those who turned their attention at all). A long basketball season, and what sometimes seems like a longer playoff system, may have resulted in another predictable finish, but that’s the climate of the current NBA. The majority of the teams have no shot. Half of the teams make the postseason, but if you’re a fan of one of those squads who aren’t going anywhere, we at ITI have good news.

There are a few former two-sport athletes on Philly’s NFL team that your GM can make a play for if he wants to get back in the championship hunt. Here are five Eagles that could possibly get your team a ring next season.
