Philadelphia Eagles roundup: Jalen Mills’ softball game, a SB ring giveaway

Philadelphia Eagles cornerback Jalen Mills hosts a charity softball game, and fans of ‘The Birds’ are invited to a contest to win a Super Bowl ring of their own. It’s all here in this edition of ‘Eagles roundup.

Here are the latest comings and goings for the Philadelphia Eagles. It appears ‘The Green Goblin’, Jalen Mills, picked up a baseball bat for charity. There are seems to be a rumor, one that’s been confirmed, that fans of ‘The Birds’ can enter for  chance to win a Super Bowl ring of their own.

That should make fans smile, especially that second one.

Let’s talk about ‘The Goblin’ first.

Just in case you missed it, Eagles cornerback Jalen Mills made his way over to Reading, Pennsylvania to host a charity softball game to benefit the National Youth Foundation. He was joined by teammates Corey Clement and Rashard Davis.

Here’s a quote we lifted from Brian Linder of PennLive.com. His entire story on the event can be read here.

"They are real big right now with anti-bullying, and once I heard that, of course you know what is going on in society right now, in the schools, with the shooting and kids committing suicide … I just wanted to bring more awareness to them. I wanted to help them with what they have going."

That’s another awesome job by Mr. Mills.

Here’s one contest that should get a few entries.
