A Philadelphia Eagles billboard will soon make its way to Boston
To haunt New England Patriots fans for a little longer, a Philadelphia Eagles billboard will be posted in Boston.
Super Bowl bets get more interesting every year. Before, most bets were about money or strictly for bragging rights. But as time went on, bets are beginning to get way more creative. And thanks to the power of social media, a New England Patriots fan will be forced to cough up more than $500 to post a gut-wrenching billboard near the home of the Super Bowl LII runner-ups.
Philadelphia Eagles superfan Gina Lewis agreed to a bet involving Twitter with a co-worker. She stated that if she can get at least 4,100 likes and 3,300 retweets (get it?), then her co-worker would pay for a photo of Brandon Graham strip-sacking Tom Brady to be posted somewhere in Boston. Sure enough, the power of Eagles Twitter came in clutch, and Gina won, just like the Eagles.
The Tweet that did it:
According to Billy Penn.com, Gina is an accidental Eagles fan from Western Massachusettes who has been rooting for the Eagles since the early 2000’s. Finally, she got a chance to see her beloved Eagles defeat the team that everyone around her roots for. And even though the Patriots took down the Eagles back in 2005, Gina never jumped ship. Talk about loyalty.
Any day now we should see the still shot of the Eagles biggest play in team history shining on a busy road near Gillette Stadium. Although the billboard won’t be up for long, 24 hours should be just enough time to get under the skin of Patriots fans and players.

The Eagles fan base will surely start a war with Patriots fans after this bold move. After all, they deserve it after they disrespected the beloved Rocky statue by dressing him in a Tom Brady jersey before the big game. What goes around, comes around, New England.
