Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Carson Wentz is fresh off an ACL and MCL injury, but it sure doesn’t look like it as evidence from his recent camp appearance.

It’s been seven months since the Philadelphia Eagles starting quarterback Carson Wentz suffered an ACL injury just weeks shy of the post-season. Wentz’ injury occurred in a game against the Los Angeles Rams in Week 14 of the 2017 regular season. He underwent surgery a couple of days later.

The injury sidelined him for the remainder of the regular season and the entire playoffs. Philly’s young gun was forced to watch as his backup, Nick Foles, took his place and led the Birds to a Super Bowl title.

Before the injury, Wentz was on pace to win the NFL’s MVP award.  Now that the 2017 season is officially over, ‘Number 11’ has his eyes set on the 2018 regular season. He’s hoping to pick up where he left off, but the road to recovery and success won’t be easy, especially after an ACL injury.

Wentz continues to make strides.

While Wentz is not at 100 percent as of now, he is improving with each passing day. He has participated in seven-on-seven drills. He’s still not as mobile, and he’s clearly avoiding putting pressure on his knee when stepping into his throws. Those aspects of his game are likely to be absent until he is fully cleared, but one thing is certain. He can still throw bombs.

Number 11 lets loose.

Wentz recently made a guest appearance at a high school football camp in Moorhead, Minnesota. After dropping some knowledge on the youngsters, the Eagles quarterback decided to drop bombs on them as well.

A video of Philly’s signal caller throwing a 60-yard pass to one of the campers made its’ way onto the internet,

Don’t believe me. Take a look for yourself.

What does this mean?

This video shows that, while Wentz’ mobility was affected by the injury, his arm strength is still in tact. The six-foot-five star still has some juice in that delivery of his.

While the video is impressive, Eagles fans shouldn’t get their hopes up. It’s still unclear whether or not Wentz will be ready for week one.

One thing is certain. When he comes back, we can expect to see some dimes like this on the turf of Lincoln Financial Field. That’s something to look forward to if you are a Philly fan.
