We just might see Jason Kelce make his acting debut soon.

The Philadelphia Eagles have been the talk of the NFL for obvious reasons, of course. Just in case you forgot and were wondering why it is because they won Super Bowl LII back in February. And Ever since the big victory, certain individual players on the team have gained a significant increase of fame.

Before the Eagles Super Bowl season, the center, Jason Kelce wasn’t exactly the popular Kelce in the NFL. His younger brother, Travis has been quite the entertainer with his high-energy play and funny celebrations. Clearly, a center isn’t going to be the most exciting player on the offense. But Jason Kelce is becoming quite the star, despite being an offensive lineman.

It all started when Kelce gave his emotional post-game speech after the Super Bowl. His heartfelt message to the fans and his teammates regarding the journey it took to get there really tugged on the heartstrings of football fans. A week after the from-the-heart presser that he presented, Kelce put together perhaps the best championship parade speech in the history of sports. Oh, and he did it all while wearing a Philadelphia famous mummers uniform.

Now, Kelce could be putting his newfound fame to great use. It was announced that the “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia” crew would, in fact, make a Super Bowl episode. If that isn’t already great news, you should be thrilled to see that the show’s front-runner and co-creator, Rob McElhenney hinted with a possible Kelce appearance.

Kelce makes a behind-the-scenes appearance:

So, we don’t know if Kelce is a lock to make the show. But we have to assume that he wouldn’t just randomly show up to the set in Los Angeles to hang out, right? It wouldn’t come as a surprise considering “Mac” is a lifelong Eagles fan, but there’s no way he would have Kelce on the set and not take advantage of implementing him into the show.

The Always Sunny crew are no strangers to celebrating Philadelphia sports success on the show. Back in 2010, they dedicated an entire episode to the Philadelphia Phillies World Series win. Now, they will give the city the much anticipated Super Bowl episode that was expected to happen whether they announced it early or not. And it’s only right that they bring in the people’s champ, Jason Kelce!
