Even though he is no longer on the Philadelphia Eagles, Trey Burton is still all smiles sharing memories from 2017.

It’s ESPY season in America! In a few hours, the annual sports award show will kick off, and it should be somewhat unusual for Philadelphia sports this year. Being that the Philadelphia Eagles are this year’s Super Bowl Champions, they have a little bit more clout than usual. This year, the Eagles have nominations in a few categories.

Eagles quarterback Nick Foles is up for the best championship performance of last year. The Eagles as a whole unit are up for the best team in professional sports. Without a specific play, though, in particular, the Eagles could’ve come up short in Super Bowl LII (hey, you never know.)  So, in one of the significant categories that is crowded with nominee’s, the Eagles are up for the best play.

Obviously, we shouldn’t have to pinpoint which play we are are talking about. But just in case you are lost, the famous ‘Philly Special’ is up for the Best Play in this year’s ESPY awards. We all know just how crazy the play was in such a critical moment, and now it has the chance to win an award.

So, in attendance with the Super Bowl champions, the quarterback of the play is reunited with his fellow champions! Former Eagles tight end Trey Burton showed up to the ESPY’s in a stylish suit that he should probably just wear reversed like Will Smith in the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.

Check out Burton’s suit:

Hopefully, we can get a better look after the show. But from what we can see, that is one awesome suit jacket. That play alone will go down as the most famous play in Philly sports history, most likely. Now, Burton can add his awesome suit jacket to his 2017 Super Bowl collection.

It’s good to see Burton back with Doug Pederson for the show. When he left off to sign with the Chicago Bears, he Burton didn’t seem very happy with the way things ended with the Eagles since they didn’t make him an offer. Apparently, he is not the type to hold grudges, though. And Burton looks quite happy to forever be the guy who threw the ball on the Philly Special play during Super Bowl LII.
