If there is one thing Philadelphia Eagles fans are excellent at, it is traveling to other teams stadiums to take over.

The outcome of Super Bowl LII continues to haunt the fans of the New England Patriots. Sure, they are the most accomplished NFL dynasty in recent time, but for some reason, this Super Bowl seems to sting a lot more than previous ones that they lost. We get it, the rest of the NFL hates the Philadelphia Eagles and their fans. Also, the Patriots were only one possession away from sending the Super Bowl into overtime in comeback fashion for the second year in a row.

It’s understandable that Boston fans are frustrated with the outcome of the big game. After all, there was a ton of confident smack talking during the two weeks heading into Minnesota. For example, Patriots fans decided to dress the famous Rocky statue in a Tom Brady jersey. Also, one fan, in particular, decided to “Gronk Spike” a Philly cheesesteak in the heart of South Philly.

Ultimately, the Patriots and their fans lost in the end. Now, the great fans of Philadelphia can’t stop, and won’t stop tormenting the fans of Boston. About a month ago, a Boston-living Eagles fan won a bet that would put an Eagles Super Bowl-themed advertisement on a Boston billboard to throw it in the Patriots faces once again. It doesn’t stop there, though. Apparently, fans of the Eagles and the Philadelphia Phillies brought back some haunting memories for the fans at Fenway Park during a Phillies versus Boston Red Sox game.

Boston gets the Philly Special:

Those Philly fans sure do travel well. Considering Boston is one train ride away from Philly, it is not shocking to see that Phillies fans showed up and showed out at Fenway. Honestly, the sound of the Eagles chants is quite impressive. You don’t have to like it, but you have to respect it.

All of this offseason noise sure makes it ten times more exciting as football returns by next week. We won’t see a Super Bowl rematch in the regular season, but at least the Eagles fans will get an opportunity to take over Gillette Stadium for a preseason showdown on August 16th. Seeing that Philly fans traveled well this time around, we will probably be able to see a ton of midnight green in the crowd during the preseason. These fans just can’t wait to rub it in.
