Five players you should keep your eyes on for when the Philadelphia Eagles take on the Pittsburgh Steelers.

The preseason is finally here, folks! On Thursday, at 7 pm EST. The Philadelphia Eagles are set to take on their old friends, the Pittsburgh Steelers. For the first time since February, we will get a little taste of NFL action. Although the Eagles will be without a significant amount of their starters, Thursday’s matchup should give us a good idea of who could potentially make the final roster between the handful of battles going down throughout training camp.

Just this past Tuesday night, the Eagles released their unofficial depth chart. While there were no surprises on paper, there is still plenty of time left this summer for things to change. The most significant opportunities come when the roster hopefuls and young players take the game field.

For a handful of young players, this week’s game will be their first taste of NFL action. For some better-known veterans, this could be the beginning of their last coming weeks on the Philadelphia Eagles roster. So for those who feel they will be less entertained with the starters out, make sure you keep an eye out for these five players who could potentially make an impact this year.
