Five players to keep your on eye on for when the Philadelphia Eagles take on the New England Patriots in Foxborough.

The first phase of the preseason is officially in the bag as week two approaches. Last week, the Philadelphia Eagles took a beating to the Pittsburgh Steelers, losing 31-14 at home. This week, we will get the one, and only Super Bowl LII rematch as the Eagles traveled to Foxborough on Wednesday to prepare to take on the defending AFC Champions, the New England Patriots.

The Eagles aren’t fully healthy yet as they still have a long list of starters being held out of practice. So we can already rule out Alshon Jeffery, Brandon Graham, Chris Maragos, and Nelson Agholor. Also, Carson Wentz is inching closer towards returning, but he will be holding the clipboard for the remainder of the preseason, for sure.

Unlike last week though, the Eagles will have their Super Bowl MVP back in action as Nick Foles is set to make his 2018 preseason debut after dealing with an upper-body injury. And on the opposite side of things, his Super Bowl foe, Tom Brady will also take the playing field for the first time this offseason. While those two players issue a lot more interest in this week’s exhibition game, we still need to keep a close eye out for some of the guys who are lower on the depth chart. Let’s highlight five players of interest for this Thursday’s game against the Patriots.
