Must-Draft Players:

Carson Wentz, QB

Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Carson Wentz is coming off of an ACL injury, which sidelined him for the remainder of last season. While he has not been cleared for full contact and will likely be unable to start week one of the 2018 season, fans should still consider drafting the third-year player.

He is on the road to recovery, and will likely be ready to play by the third or fourth week of the season. Fingers crossed that we see the signal-caller suit up in the Midnight Green by week two.

So, fans should consider drafting him as their backup quarterback because I can promise you that once quarterbacks start going off the board, he will be gone fast. Keep in mind, Wentz was having himself an MVP kind of season, last year. Before he went down, No. 11 had thrown for 3,296 yards and 33 touchdowns.

Don’t miss out on one of the top quarterbacks from last season because last year was not a fluke. And while an ACL injury is a severe injury to return from, Wentz could still be gearing up for one of those impressive comeback seasons.

Corey Clement, RB

Everyone wants to talk about Jay Ajayi, but Corey Clement is a name that we should be saying more often. His rookie season was unbelievable. He was expected to see limited time on the field and worked his way into a key player on the offense.

Sure, Ajayi is an efficient runner and can move the chains. But fantasy football isn’t about moving the chains. It is about points. Who can get the most points? And Clement will get your team more points that Ajayi.

Don’t believe me? Look at former Eagles player, LeGarrette Blount. Blount had never been a guy who would rush for 100 yards each game. But he was a guy expected to score from the goal line. He is a power back who will push his way into the end zone. Ajayi is the opposite. He is a speed back who will be productive in the yardage game, which is why I would have played Blount over Ajayi last season.

This brings me back to Clement. Clement has proven that he can score. And when it comes to fantasy, the fact remains. Those who score will generate more fantasy points.

Therefore, Clement may get fewer carries than Ajayi. But he will make the most of his minimal carries and receptions. Also, he can be played as a back or a flex player. He is a versatile player that will see time on the field as a running back or a receiver. He is a similar player to Darren Sproles. He is a great pass-catching back.

So, if you are having a difficult time deciding between Clement and Ajayi, we’ll make it simple for you. The answer is Clement. Period.
