The running backs

Don’t look now. The Eagles have a four-man rotation at running back, and one of those guys is someone you had given up on, Wendell Smallwood (dont’ worry, you weren’t alone in that theory). Philly returns Jay Ajayi, Corey Clement, and Darren Sproles as well.

Doug Pederson and Duce Staley should have fun all season finding ways to use these guys. There’s only one issue. They seem to be void of a power runner or someone who can salt away games late.

Grade: B+ 92%

The quarterbacks

It must be nice to have what would have been last season’s league MVP, had he not gotten hurt, and last season’s Super Bowl MVP in the same meeting room. Nate Sudfeld is clearly a drop off from both of those two, but there may not be a better quarterback and backup in the NFL.

Throw out what you saw in the preseason. These guys will be fine when the games count.

Grade: A+ (95%)

Overall Offensive Grade: A- (92%)
