Here’s everything that you’re going to need to get you ready for the Philadelphia Eagles and Atlanta Falcons.

It’s Week 1 in the NFL, and the first game of the season comes courtesy of the Philadelphia Eagles and Atlanta Falcons. There’s no Carson Wentz, no Alshon Jeffery, no Timmy Jernigan, and no Mack Hollins. Still, what would be a death march for most NFL teams is actually a celebration for the city of Philadelphia.

The Eagles drop their first-ever Super Bowl banner at Lincoln Financial Field, and confidence couldn’t be any higher. There’s a buzz around Philly, and why not? Without Wentz, they leave tonight in the very capable hands of last year’s Super Bowl MVP, Nick Foles.

The NFL Network will replay the game on Friday, September 7th at 4:00 AM EST, 8:00 AM EST, and 2:00 PM EST. On Saturday, September 8th, they’ll be another showing at 4:00 PM EST.

Who’s calling the game?

You should know this by now. Al Michaels, Cris Collinsworth, and Michelle Tafoya handle the call on NBC. It appears the Eagles fans were unable to ban Mr. Colinsworth from calling Eagles games.

Merrill Reese (play-by-play), Mike Quick (color) and Howard Eskin (sideline) have you covered on SportsRadio 94WIP-FM. Check out the Falcons Radio Network if you’re trying to hear the game anywhere around the greater Atlanta area. Wes Durham (play-by-play) and Dave Archer (color) handle the call. John Michaels handles sideline duty.

Everything’s just better in life when you get a little Black Thought from the Roots involved in the action. Let’s get to the predictions.

Line:

Guess what? According to sportsbookreview.com, the Eagles are, again, underdogs in the opinions of most. 5Dimes does, however, favor ‘The Birds’ by one point.

ITI’s prediction:

Eagles 27, Falcons 20
