Which Philadelphia Eagles need to have a standout game on Thursday Night Football against the New York Giants?

Times are tough at the Nova Care Complex right now as the Philadelphia Eagles seem like they are on their last leg. It’s been a while since the Eagles have struggled this much, and it’s almost like we forgot what it’s like to lose in the regular season. Through five weeks, the Eagles already took as many losses as they did throughout the entirety of last season.

The worst part about knowing that is that the Eagles didn’t even hit the rough patch of their schedule yet. It doesn’t get any easier for the Birds. Fortunately, they play a struggling New York Giants team on a short week, but anybody who is overly confident heading into this game is probably just lying to themselves.

This week’s matchup won’t be a walk in the park for the Eagles. Although the Eagles have a ton of success against the Giants over the years, they always tend to make it much harder than it should be. Granted, division matchups are typically tough more often than not, but the Eagles always seem to let the Giants hang around when they really shouldn’t.

So, as the Eagles are coming off of not one, but two devastating losses in a row, what’s it going to take for them to win on the road this Thursday? Who needs to step it up and play their best game of football against the Giants this week?
