As rumors continue to fly around about a possible trade, which position do the Eagles need to trade for?

Seeing how productive Howie Roseman and the Philadelphia Eagles front office was during last year’s trade deadline makes this season a lot more interesting. Last year, the Eagles were doing everything that they could do to make the team better. That meant if a good player popped up on Roseman’s radar for a bargain price, he took it.

It didn’t matter if the Eagles were in need of a position last year, they took everything that could get. When Jay Ajayi became available, they wasted no time trading for him, despite having a stellar backfield already. When they thought they needed a left tackle when Jason Peters went down, they didn’t even really search for one. It was strange, but it all worked out.

This season, we’ve heard a bunch of things through the grapevine about potential trades involving the Birds. As everybody expects the Eagles to trade for a running back with Ajayi done for the season, there are more significant needs on this team. But as we know, the Eagles aren’t a team that is picky. If a good deal is in front of their face, they take it. If we were to rank the Eagles four biggest needs in order though, what would they be?
