It’s been a long week of preparation for the Philadelphia Eagles as they wrapped up their week six early on Thursday Night Football. Before last week’s win over the New York Giants, the Eagles were still unaware of who they were as a team. We didn’t see the same dominant team that won the Super Bowl less than a year ago. Something was different, and they couldn’t quite find their identity in the 2018 season.

The week six win over the Giants helped out a lot, though. Finally, the Eagles might’ve found their rhythm as they took down the Giants with a big win on the road during a short week. The defense was creating turnovers, the offense was scoring and capitalizing on every opportunity, and most of all, the team came away with a win that they were genuinely happy to earn.

Although last week’s opponent wasn’t the toughest in strength, it prepared the team for this week’s tough matchup against the Carolina Panthers. Fortunately, the Eagles will host the Panthers at home, but the home-field advantage doesn’t guarantee a win.

With the Panthers coming off of a tough loss to the Washington Redskins last week, they are surely looking to bounce back in a big way against the Eagles.
