The Philadelphia Eagles are rumored to be showing interest in Miami Dolphins wide receiver, DeVante Parker.

With the trade deadline quickly approaching, the Philadelphia Eagles are expected to be heavily involved. As the team continues to suffer injury after injury, it’s no shock that the Eagles are engaging in plenty of trade talks. In fact, it’s more shocking that Howie Roseman and the front office haven’t made any moves yet.

Rumors are going around though that the Eagles have reached out for players like Le’Veon Bell, LeSean McCoy, and a few more. But a new name popped up early on Sunday morning as the Eagles are rumored to be in trade talks with the Miami Dolphins as they are interested in their wide receiver, DeVante Parker.

Parker, who is dealing with some injuries of his own is probably still surprised to see that he is still in Miami. Ever since last season, there have been rumors about Parker being moved to another team. At this point, it only makes sense for the Dolphins to trade him away. And the rumored asking price seems to be a third-round pick.

Parker to the Eagles?

As Parker is healthy at the moment and practiced all week long, he was a surprise inactive for Dolphins on Sunday just hours before kickoff. Obviously, many can say that he wasn’t feeling healthy enough to play, but it’s apparent that the Dolphins are just playing it safe with Parker as they could potentially have a trade in place this week.

With Mike Wallace, and Mack Hollins being on the Injured Reserve, and Shelton Gibson underperforming, it’s not surprising to see the Eagles having a keen interest in a wide receiver. And since the Oakland Raiders set an unreasonably high price tag for Amari Cooper, it looks like Parker may be the next best thing.
