Malcolm Jenkins, S

Eagles safety and acting captain Malcolm Jenkins has taken it upon himself to practically ‘smack-talk’ the Jaguars quarterbacking situation this week during locker room interviews. For a secondary that is letting up the most yards in the passing game, he shouldn’t really have any room to talk. Especially after last week’s collapse.

Now, the ball is in Jenkins court this weekend. Everybody is frustrated that he had the audacity to throw shots at Bortles and give him bulletin board material. Jenkins has been playing reasonably well for the most part, but now he needs to go above and beyond to defend his words.

You know, if the Eagles secondary lets all of those air-yards through once again, No. 27 is going to be taking all of the blame regardless of how he played. That’s just how it goes. So, the leader of the secondary needs to make sure that his troops are set to go to war and pull off a huge victory this weekend. And I don’t mean to beg, but a turnover or two would be nice. Just saying.
