Golden Tate, WR

The new guy, Golden Tate will officially make his Eagles debut this week. The reason behind the Eagles trading for Tate is simple. They needed an offensive spark. While we won’t be upset if he doesn’t click right off the bat, we just don’t believe that will be the case. With about two weeks to prepare, Tate should be more than ready to soar in the Eagles offense.

Since Tate spent his first eight weeks with the Detroit Lions, he’s already the most productive wide receiver on the team by his numbers. And fortunately, he’s already played against the Dallas Cowboys this season. Although the Lions couldn’t win the game, Tate was a problem for the Cowboys’ defense last month.

Against Dallas, Tate went off for his season-high of eight catches for 132 yards and two touchdowns. The Dallas defense knows that he will be a problem, and I’d be shocked if the Eagles don’t take advantage of that to the fullest.
