4. Frank Reich did a whole lot more than many of you thought he did.

Where’s the offense gone? Oh that’s right. They lost their offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach this past offseason. This has, often, been a familiar refrain in the current NFL.

When a team becomes successful, other teams poach that team for their assistants. We then see a drop-off from their former team in the area that they once coached. Don’t look now, but even though many debate with us, we’re, most often, right. We were clearly right about Frank Reich and John DeFilippo.

Yes, Eagles head coach Doug Pederson calls the plays, but Reich and DeFilippo were huge losses. All of a sudden, when given an offensive line and a bright offensive mind as a head coach, we’ve all been reminded that Indianapolis Colts quarterback Andrew Luck can play.

Coincidence? We think not.
