Eagles’ Kamu Grugier-Hill issues Dallas some bulletin board material
Kamu Grugier-Hill was not holding back his opinion on the Dallas Cowboys ahead of this weekend’s matchup.
This weekend’s game is a tale of two teams in the NFC East. Although the Dallas Cowboys are alone in first place at the top of the division, the Philadelphia Eagles are not too far behind. A win this weekend can place them right back at the top where they belonged ever since the season had begun. Both teams are trending in the right direction this week.
While the Eagles could, and should only go up from here, Dallas could be in the running for a disappointing week finally. The Cowboys have been on a roll. There’s no other way to put it. The Eagles losing at home to the Cowboys a few weeks back was the kickstart to the Cowboys dominant run that they have been on.
First, they defeated the Eagles. Then, they went on the road and took care of the Atlanta Falcons, and knocked off the Washington Redskins back at home. Heading into this week, the Cowboys are coming off of their biggest win yet. They defeated the New Orleans Saints at home.
Now, the Eagles have to be the third team in a row to travel to AT&T Stadium. While home-field advantage could play in the Cowboys favor, the Eagles know for a fact that they can handle the pressure on the road in Dallas.
If they can pull off the victory, it wouldn’t be the first time Philly took down Dallas in front of their hometown fans. In fact, the Eagles typically fare well in Dallas towards the back end of the season. And if you ask Eagles linebacker Kamu Grugier-Hill, he will tell you that Dallas is always the same old story. Choking, choking, and more choking.

Very simple, yet, somewhat true of a statement by the Eagles linebacker. While the smack talking is fun, we would like to say that the Eagles should tread lightly while talking about the Cowboys this week. Because recent history does say the Cowboys choke in crucial situations, but the 2018 Philadelphia Eagles are in no position to laugh at teams choking. After all, they did pretty much give two games away this season to the Titans and the Panthers.
Hopefully, Grugier-Hill and the rest of the Eagles are ready to back up this smack talk. It was expected that somebody would mouth off since it is a rivalry week. But the Eagles are definitely underdogs in this one, and they don’t have much room to talk right now. So, Grugier-Hill should probably save the bulletin board material for now, and wait until after the game this Sunday afternoon in Dallas.
