4. Jake Elliott comes up in the clutch.

For many teams, the 2018 season wasn’t so friendly to kickers in moments when they needed them the most.

However, Eagles’ kicker Jake Elliott provided not one, but two game-winning field goals this season. Elliott’s first game-winner of this season came in Week 12 against the New York Giants.

Last season, the rest of the NFL learned who Jake Elliott was when he drilled a career-long 61-yard field goal in Week 3 to send the Giants home with a loss.

They don’t call him Jake “The Giant Killer” Elliott for nothing.

That was also the same game where Carson Wentz told his teammates he would give Elliott his game check if he made the field goal.

Elliott’s second game-winner arrived in Week 16 against the Houston Texans, which played a tremendous role in keeping Philadelphia’s playoff hope alive.
