The Philadelphia Eagles are set to take on the Chicago Bears for the Wild Card round of the Playoffs. Which five players are key to a win?

The time has finally come. For the last few weeks, the Philadelphia Eagles have been involved in a do-or-die matchup just to get to this moment. The 2019 NFL Playoffs are set to kick off on Saturday, and the Eagles and the Chicago Bears will be the final matchup of the Wild Card weekend. The playoffs are quite familiar to the Birds, but this season, the circumstances are different. There’s no home field advantage in Philly, and there’s no first-round bye for the Eagles.

However, one thing is the same compared to last year’s playoff run. The Eagles are still the underdogs. It was evident that Vegas wouldn’t select the Eagles as their favorites considering that they just squeezed into the postseason as the sixth seed.

Last year, it was frustrating and flat out disrespectful for the Eagles to be considered underdogs as the number one seed with home field advantage. This season, it’s almost a blessing in disguise considering how much they thrived off of being considered the underdogs.

Let’s not get too far ahead of ourselves this week though. Chicago is an excellent football team, who has surprised a lot of people. Before the season begun, nobody expected the Bears to be in this position. And it kind of reminds us of the Eagles of last year.

Now, I’m not saying that the Bears are going to make an unexpected Super Bowl run, but I also don’t believe that the Bears lack of playoff experience is a reason to sleep on them. It’s going to take a team effort for the Birds to win, and they need these five players to step up and lead the charge on the road this week to stay alive.
