It seems like Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Golden Tate hasn’t heard from the front office in a while.

The NFL started the second week of the offseason off hot with a few signings around the league. As you might’ve heard by now, a potential signee for the Philadelphia Eagles recently inked a deal with the Cleveland Browns. However, that isn’t the signing that had one of the Eagles wideouts sending out a strange tweet on Monday night, though.

ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter was going about his day and doing his job on Monday afternoon when he tweeted about the Atlanta Falcons signing linebacker Bruce Carter to a one-year extension. That’s when Eagles wide receiver Golden Tate was spotted in the replies with a bit of a subliminal response towards the Eagles in a negative light. Check it out.

Tate responds to some extension news:

As we wait for the new league year, a few signings are going down here and there. Although the Eagles front office hasn’t been extremely active, they did happen to re-sign their veteran linebacker, Paul Worrilow to a one-year extension in order to bring him back for a healthy season. Tate must’ve been unaware of the fact that teams can extend players before the league new year, and now that he knows, he seems a bit upset. By the looks of it, the Eagles have yet to reach out to Tate.

It didn’t just stop there though. Not too long after his response to Schefter, Tate tweeted out a single emoji, which indicated that he was upset. Unfortunately, he didn’t add any text, so it left his followers a bit confused. When Baltimore Ravens safety Eric Weddle responded: “Where u going bro???” Tate sent back “TBD [To Be Determined]) I dunno bro, any recommendations?”

Clearly, the Eagles haven’t made any attempts to talk to Tate, and now he’s feeling slightly upset about it. While it’s not all that surprising that Tate may not be in the Eagles future plans, it is kind of shocking to see that the veteran wideout is starting to have some hard feelings towards the Eagles considering he only played in midnight green for half of a season. Maybe the Eagles are still undecided, and they could reach out to Tate soon. But as of now, Tate doesn’t seem too optimistic about his future in Philadelphia.
