Philadelphia Flyers’ rookie goalie Carter Hart has shown some love to the Philadelphia Eagles ahead of their outdoor matchup at the Linc.

This Saturday, Lincoln Financial Field will be packed with Philadelphia fans for the first time since the matchup against the Houston Texans back in December. The only difference is that it won’t be a bunch of Eagles fans wearing green in attendance. Instead, there will be tons of orange and black, as the Philadelphia Flyers take on the Pittsburgh Penguins in the Stadium Series.

All week long, the staff over at the Linc have been turning the field into ice, in preparation of the primetime matchup for Saturday. As expected, the Eagles were keeping everybody in the loop with how everything looked as many were curious to see how a giant ice rink would fare inside of the Eagles’ nest. As it turns out, Lincoln Financial Field makes for a nice ice rink!

Being that the game is in the home of the Eagles, you know that the Flyers had to do something special for the Birds. Well, Flyers rookie goalie Carter Hart decided to get a custom helmet created that pays homage to the Eagles. So with that, Hart ended up getting a helmet that features not only Super Bowl LII MVP, Nick Foles. But also the teams franchise quarterback Carson Wentz.

So much for a quarterback debate and picking sides. So wait, you mean to tell me that somebody can enjoy both, Nick Foles and Carson Wentz while they’re still here? Interesting. As you may know, there have been countless debates about the two quarterbacks over the last year it feels like. Now, it’s a breath of fresh air to see somebody show appreciation towards both Foles and Wentz at the same time. Thank you, Carter Hart.
