One Philadelphia Eagles expert takes the time to reminisce on 20 times ‘The Birds’ did the wrong thing in the draft and Malcolm Jenkins channels his inner Dabo Swinney on this edition of ‘The Roundup’.

For some of us, this is one of those great times of the year. Yes, Spring is approaching, but that also means it’s time for the Philadelphia Eagles to start building a roster. More on that in a second. We begin with Malcolm Jenkins and his attempt to hit the recruiting trail, pro football style of course.

Remember when we mentioned Le’Veon Bell and how we expected those rumors about him finding his way to Philly? Well, it appears a few of the Eagles themselves are making their pitch for the ball carrier.

Chris Long made a playful statement on Twitter last week:

Jenkins echoed Long’s tweet with one of his own:

This one isn’t dying down folks. That brings us to another form of team building, the draft.

The 2019 selection meeting is scheduled for a 9:00 PM EST beginning on April 25th and will run until Saturday, April 27th. Philly’s been awarded compensatory picks, but the fear with the draft is and always has been the possibility of doing something wrong.

Thank Andy Reid for a lot of that. Now, be honest. How many of you saw a name or two that belonged to someone that you don’t recognize? We can argue with the order (maybe), but one thing’s certain. Everyone on this list deserves to be there.

Philly’s got to nail the 2019 NFL Draft at the end of April.
