Who will the Philadelphia Eagles take with their three first picks? NFL.com’s Chad Reuter makes his best guess with a three-round mock draft.

It’s NFL Combine week, and every team is in Indianapolis trying to get a good look at some of their potential NFL Draft prospects. So with the combine week comes plenty of mock drafts. Typically, mock drafts this early only contain the first round. Recently though, NFL Draft Analyst Chad Reuter decided to extend his knowledge and create a mock for the first three rounds.

Although the Philadelphia Eagles do not have a third-round pick this year, due to the Golden Tate trade at the deadline, they still have three picks in this mock, thanks to two second-rounders. Shockingly enough, the Eagles didn’t snag a running back, and they steered clear of taking a cornerback, unlike many mock draft’s we’ve seen. So with that, let’s take a look at Reuter’s best guess at who the Eagles could snag with their first three picks.

What does the mock say?

At this time, the Eagles have the 25th, 53rd, and 57th overall picks. Knowing how Howie Roseman is, there’s a strong possibility that the Eagles could move at some point, whether it’s back or forward. For the first round, it would be surprising to see the Eagles move back, but barely shocking if they decide to trade up for a prospect they really like. In this mock though, the Eagles will stay put and snag the best player available.

Round 1, Pick 25: Kelvin Harmon, WR

Reuter sends N.C. State wideout, Kelvin Harmon to the Eagles in the first round. The last time the Eagles snagged a wideout this high was when they grabbed a kid named Nelson Agholor out of USC. To this day, Agholor still has yet to live up to that first-round potential, but he’s still been a solid contributor for the past two years. Harmon is a bigger wideout, with the same size as Alshon Jeffery, but just a few pounds lighter. Could he be Alshon’s successor?

Round 2, Pick 53: Joe Jackson, EDGE

This is an Eagles pick right here. A pass rusher out of Miami. Howie Roseman made it known that he believes this draft has an incredible amount of talent when it comes to defensive linemen, and we’ve all seen the Eagles stock up the D-Line plenty over the years. Now, they want to go younger at the position.

Round 2, Pick 57: Deebo Samuel, WR

Not one, but two wideouts within the first three rounds? That’s unlike Howie. Seeing as though the Eagles have question marks beyond Alshon and Nelson Agholor though this wouldn’t be too far-fetched. The Eagles have Mack Hollins, but they don’t honestly know what they have with him. Regardless if he comes around or not, the Eagles still need a speedy wideout to stretch the field. Maybe that’s Deebo Samuel if they don’t address this in free agency.
