What are the Giants doing at quarterback?

The public assumes that the Giants are going to hold onto Manning, and sit tight where they’re at in the draft and take Ohio State’s, Dwayne Haskins. Sounds simple enough, right? Well, we can’t be so sure. After all, this is the G-Men we’re talking about here. In a matter of one weekend, there have been two different scenarios coming out about the Giants’ decision with the quarterback position.

One rumor indicates that if the Arizona Cardinals are serious enough about trading away Josh Rosen, then the Giants are going to consider getting in on the trade talks. Rumor number two indicates that the Giants will keep Eli Manning – but Dwayne Haskins is not the rookie they are leaning towards in the first round. Apparently, the Giants have shifted their focus to Duke’s Daniel Jones, not Dwayne Haskins. Quite the exciting twist there.

Speaking of the Giants, Landon Collins may be out

While we’re talking about the Giants, we can briefly discuss their veteran safety, Landon Collins. As you may know, Collins has grown a bit disgruntled over the short course of the offseason. Just a couple of weeks ago, Collins cleared out his locker and said goodbye to all of the staffers that he was familiar with before exiting. Then, it was reported that Collins cleared out his locker, but still left some stuff, which indicated that maybe he wasn’t clearing it out for good.

When that assumption hit Twitter, Collins made sure to reply to the Tweet saying he did, in fact, clear out his locker while under the assumption that he would not be coming back. The stuff in Collins’ locker was no longer needed, and he didn’t plan on coming back to get it. Well, as it turns out, the Giants are rumored to have no intentions of franchise-tagging Collins. He will be a free agent in a couple of weeks if this holds up. You just hate to see it, wink wink.
