Now that Brandon Graham is back on with the Philadelphia Eagles, he made an appearance at the Nova Care Complex with excitement.

When the Philadelphia Eagles re-signed veteran defensive end, Brandon Graham, it meant a lot more than many people imagined. Sure, it’s great to retain those players who play well for the team, but for Graham it’s different. His road to this point has not been easy. Back in 2010, Graham joined the Eagles as a first-round draft pick. When his name was called, not too many Eagles fans were very thrilled with the pick as they desired Seattle Seahawks safety, Earl Thomas, instead.

For Graham’s first few years in Philly, he wasn’t looking like a great first-round draft choice. During his first two seasons, Graham managed only to play 16 games, where he totaled for three sacks. Not exactly an ideal scenario considering that he was selected 13th overall. Although Graham just notched his career-high of sacks just two seasons ago with 9.5, his value as proven to be much higher than what his sack totals say. Hence the reason why the Eagles brought him back.

Graham shows up smiling ear to ear

With the Eagles’ staff in attendance at the teams training facility, Graham showed up and greeted everybody once again. A few months ago when the 2018 season was wrapping up, Graham was doing an in-house goodbye tour. Knowing that he was going to test the market, and wasn’t sure if he would be back, Graham made sure to say goodbye to everybody that he’s met within the organization over the last nine years. As it turns out, he was only saying goodbye for two months.

Now that Graham signed a three-year, $40 million deal with the Eagles, he’s happy to be back in his natural habitat at the Nova Care Complex, playing with the team that drafted him. Although Graham wants to win a couple more Super Bowl’s before leaving, his primary goal is to get inducted into the Eagles Hall of Fame. Considering he was the Super Bowl hero a season ago, that idea is not too far-fetched.
