The Philadelphia Eagles could use an inside linebacker with the potential loss of Jordan Hicks. Which four Free Agent’s could they be targeting?

One of the most underrated positions in need for the Philadelphia Eagles seems to be inside linebacker. For the last few years, the Eagles have gotten some stellar play from their former third-round pick, Jordan Hicks. Unfortunately, Hicks’ injury history has seemed to overshadow his production over the years, and the Eagles could finally be moving on from him.

Without Hicks, the Eagles defense didn’t exactly fall apart. As he went down for the rest of the year in 2017, Nigel Bradham and Mychal Kendricks dominated and as we know the Eagles ended up winning the Super Bowl So, Hicks isn’t exactly an essential piece for a Super Bowl run, but we can’t sit back and act like his presence was never needed.

Honestly, Kamu Grugier-Hill stepped up nicely in the absence of Hicks in 2018, but it’s highly-doubtful that Grugier-Hill is the long-term answer at middle linebacker. As the Eagles free up tons of cap space this offseason, they may be eyeing a legitimate, top middle linebacker in Free Agency. So, if they are ready to spend big on the position, which four prospects could they scout?
