As you might have expected, social media is having fun with DeSean Jackson and the rest of the Philadelphia Eagles.

Though not always the most reliable source for content, social media has this unique way of holding our attention. Philadelphia Eagles fans just can’t seem to get enough of it. Yeah, there’s some nonsense and anonymous threats, but we get a lot of quick news and some cool talking points. Just do a search on DeSean Jackson if you don’t believe us.

We promise you it won’t take long to find some cool stuff and then, all of a sudden, realize you’ve been on Twitter or Instagram for the past half-hour.

Let’s take a look around social media for some cool pics, posts and clips. Any ‘Birds’ fan should be able to come up with some pretty cool posts to retweet, share or repost. Instagram’s been dropping some pretty cool shots of what free agent signings may look like in their new jerseys.

At of the time of this writing, they hadn’t cooked up one for Malik Jackson yet, but we still had to give one of the newest Eagles his shine.

IG did hook us up with a pretty cool flick of DeSean Jackson. This one made us feel nostalgic and like we were getting a glimpse of the future at the exact same time:

Has anybody taken the time to think about whether or not ‘D-Jax’ might return a punt or two. The last time he held that role down for ‘The Birds’, things worked out pretty well.

Believe it or not, even with all that you’ve heard, the NFL’s new year didn’t actually begin until March 13th. It’s already been crazy. Jordan Hicks is gone as he’s traded one birds nest for another. Odell Beckham Jr. is out of the NFC East entirely as he’s now a member of the Cleveland Browns.

There are truly no days off in the NFL. If you don’t believe us, just check out, well, social media. Here are some more highlights from Tuesday and Wednesday.
