Las Vegas oddsmaker CG Technology released their predictions for the Philadelphia Eagles 2019 regular season win/loss total. Fans who love analytics will find this to be interesting.

Dust off the crystal balls everybody. Any trip to social media will tell you several things. One, the Philadelphia Eagles fan base is among the brightest in sports. Second, the love of NFL football is as strong as it’s ever been. Third, we love showing off the prognosticator in all of us.

That’s why we play fantasy football. That’s why we obsess over Las Vegas oddsmakers and what they think. There’s something satisfying about predicting what might happen and then seeing it come to fruition.

When we’re not doing that, we’re picking apart what the ‘experts’ are saying and debating the validity of their statements. If only we could all create our own versions of Fox Sports’ Skip and Shannon: UNDISPUTED. Then again, maybe that isn’t a great idea. Could you imagine some of the content we’d hear?

Let’s move on.

CG Technology releases win/loss totals for every NFL team.

Here’s something to argue about at the water cooler. CG Technology Sportsbooks operates eight Nevada-based sportsbooks at several Las Vegas resorts, including The Cosmopolitan, The Venetian, The Palazzo, Hard Rock Hotel, M Resort, Silverton Casino, and Palms Casino Resort.

Recently, they released win/loss totals for every NFL team. Here’s what they came up with:

At 9.5, Philly is predicted to have the most wins of any NFC East team, giving them the division. That would also make them the fourth-best team in the NFC, behind the Los Angeles Rams, New Orleans Saints, and the Chicago Bears.

The Rams and Saints would, then, get the first week off in the playoffs, while Philly and Chicago would host games in the Wildcard Round. It sounds realistic enough. Of course Eagles fans should hope they’re off slightly (home field advantage throughout the playoffs sounds better), but we have quite a bit of time before we figure out whether they’re right or not.

Let’s get through the draft, put the roster together and see if this team can gel in the preseason before we make any real predictions.
