Are the Philadelphia Eagles done building through Free Agency?

The 2019 NFL New League Year came and went, as available Free Agent’s inked immediate deals with new teams.  At this point, most clubs have turned their attention towards the 2019 NFL Draft, which is set to take place in a few weeks. With the NFL Combine and Pro Days in the rearview, the last step left in the drafting process before the actual event takes place will be each team’s top-30 visit. Then, we’re all set to get to the official selection process.

Are the Philadelphia Eagles in good shape heading into the draft? Well, once again, the Eagles front office did a great job filling in immediate needs with established veterans. As they are one of the more complete teams in the NFL, they don’t have to draft their newest rookies based off of the idea that they need these young guys to come in and make an immediate impact. If they do, great! If not, then they have time to sit back and develop while the Eagles are still a competitive club.

This year, the Eagles will bring in seven new rookies via draft picks. Also, they will ink some deals with some undrafted prospects as well. Just because the draft is coming up though, doesn’t mean the Eagles are finished with signing on veterans who remain available on the market. As a ton of players remain unsigned in Free Agency, are there any players who the Eagles could have their eyes on to sign for cheap? Let’s evaluate four potential prospects.
