Justice Hill, RB, Oklahoma State

Round 4, Pick 138

The Eagles recently traded for Chicago Bears’ running back Jordan Howard to pair up in a backfield with Josh Adams, Corey Clement, Wendell Smallwood, and two other hopefuls. Seeing as though the Eagles have more guys who are likely to be on the chopping block, rather than be a lock, we should still expect to see the Eagles snag a running back this year.

Some believed the Eagles would grab a guy early on within the first two rounds, but they could play their cards right and see who drops to them in the fourth round. In this case, an elusive running back like Justice Hill will do. Although Hill has potential to be a feature back in the NFL, he could be a dependable addition to the Birds backfield to pair with Howard and Clement.

The Eagles desired to sign former Atlanta Falcons’ running back Tevin Coleman in Free Agency, but he ended up inking a bargain deal for the San Francisco 49ers. It’s clear the Eagles are still in search of an elusive back to pair well with the power back that is Jordan Howard. Hill could be that balanced rusher, who can run, catch, and even block reasonably well in pass protection.
