We’re now aware of four more prospects the Philadelphia Eagles are set to meet with prior to the upcoming NFL Draft.

It figures to be a busy couple of weeks as the Philadelphia Eagles await the release of their 2019 regular season schedule and as the 2019 NFL Draft approaches. Philly’s set to meet with a defensive line prospect and three other prospects that fans and the media may want to familiarize themselves with (if they haven’t already).

There’s no need to procrastinate. Let’s get the skinny on all four.

Diontae Johnson II

Johnson is a five-foot-ten, 183-pound human highlight reel that can snag anything thrown in his direction, who can run around defenders and can be a problem in the return game if he’s called upon to do so.

Ryquell Armstead

Philly’s, no doubt, familiar with Armstead thanks to the fact that he played his collegiate ball at Temple, right in the Eagles’ backyard. He probably also popped on their radar seeing as how they’ve spent a lot of time discussing his teammate, cornerback Rock Ya-Sin.

In the case of Armstead, here’s a five-foot-eleven, 220-pound tailback who ran the 40 in 4.45 seconds at the NFL Scouting Combine. He also adds an instant upgrade to the Eagles’ backfield.

Rashan Gary

Philly’s always looking for defensive line help, and Gary can aid in that. In his final season in Ann Arbor, he racked up 38 total tackles (20 were solo and 6.5 resulted in a loss of yardage).

He also added 3.5 sacks, and he did so playing in a system where the defensive tackle mostly is asked to eat up blocks and allow his teammates to make plays.

Dexter Lawrence

If you’re an Eagles fan, you’ve heard this name a time or two. Can you picture Clemson‘s former star defensive tackle in a rotation that includes Fletcher Cox and Malik Jackson? It doesn’t make you sad if you’re a fan of ‘The Birds’, but it could evoke terror if you’re a fan of one of their rivals.

Lawrence racked up 131 total tackles (50 were solo and 18 resulted in a loss), ten sacks. a forced fumble and three fumble recoveries in his 38-game career at Clemson.
