Week 1 vs. Washington Redskins – Sept. 8th, 1:00 PM

Two years ago, the Eagles kicked off their Super Bowl season against the Redskins, except that game was on the road. Last year, the Eagles and the Skins didn’t meet until later on in the year, and by that time, Washington was without their starting QB. Their lack of a quarterback led to the Eagles sweeping the Skins’ last year, and the Eagles should make it three in a row, starting the 2019 season right off with a win.

Results: Eagles win, 1-0

Week 2 at Atlanta Falcons – Sept. 15th, 8:20 PM

The Eagles will face the Atlanta Falcons for the fourth-straight season. Ever since Doug Pederson’s arrival as the Eagles’ head coach, he’s been undefeated against Atlanta, which included a divisional round playoff win. Last year, the Eagles opened up the year against Atlanta and barely beat them at home with a final goal-line stand where the Eagles came away with the victory. Although Pederson had beaten the Falcons every year since he’s been head coach, he never played them on the road. It will be a tough game for sure, but it won’t change the typical results.

Results: Eagles win, 2-0

Week 3 vs. Detroit Lions – Sept. 22, 1:00 PM

It’s been a while since the Eagles have faced the Detroit Lions. The last time these two teams met, it resulted in a heartbreaking loss for the Eagles. That defeat led to the Eagles cooling down after a hot start to the season that year. Nowadays, Philly is much more experienced and talented. The Eagles should dominate at home in 2019, and get off to a hot start. Philly is a better team here.

Results: Eagles win, 3-0

Week 4 at Green Bay Packers – Sept. 26th, 8:20 PM

Two primetime games in four weeks show that the Eagles are surely an intriguing team to watch this year. Here, we get three-straight, out-of-division 2016 rematches. When the Eagles face Aaron Rodgers and the Packers, they tend to get destroyed. But let’s be honest – Rodgers isn’t the same one-man band anymore. He’s still a VERY good quarterback, but it’s clear he can’t do it all on his own. Maybe the Eagles defensive line gets a ton of pressure on him, and he doesn’t light them up once again. Again, another close one, but the Eagles start the first month off unbeaten.

Results: Eagles win, 4-0
