4. Dre’Mont Jones

Defensive coordinators in the Big Ten have to be ecstatic that NIck Bosa and this guy are gone. In 2018, Jones did everything. He racked up 40 tackles (13 resulted in a loss), 8.5 sacks, two batted passes, a forced fumble, and he even took a pick-six 28 yards to the house. He figures to go late in Round 1 or early in Round 2.

5. Jeffery Simmons

This is kind of like that Jones/Bosa thing. Thinking about pass protection with Jeffery Simmons and Montez Sweat on the other side of the ball had to keep defensive coordinators up late. 63 tackles, two sacks, and a forced fumble had to send a lot of guys to the cold tub.

Simmons tore his ACL while preparing for the combine. He was probably a top-20 pick prior to that, but now we’ll have to see if we see him on the field at all for his rookie campaign.

Still, on skill alone, we place him right in the middle of this list.
