Round 4, Pick 127

There are a ton of rumors going on about the Eagles’ stance on running backs in this draft. Apparently, they like Josh Jacobs for their 25th pick. Then, they also have tons of interest in Miles Sanders for one of their two second-round picks. To me, it’s just all smoke. Rumors for the running back position mean nothing when it comes to the Eagles.

Over the last couple of years, the Eagles were rumored to have tons of interest in running backs early on, but they wouldn’t grab a guy any earlier than the fourth round. This year, I believe it will be the same case. Especially after they just traded for Jordan Howard from the Chicago Bears.

With Howard on board, the Eagles are better, but he’s a one-dimensional back, who thrives in a power-back role. Now, the Eagles need to find an elusive guy, who is solid at pass-catching. In this case, Justice Hill fills out the need well with a middle fourth-round pick.
