The running backs (4)

Philly’s going to walk into training camp with Josh Adams, Corey Clement, Nico Evans, Jordan Howard, Donnel Pumphrey, Miles Sanders, Boston Scott, and Wendell Smallwood all on the roster. When they walk out, there will be four guys on the final 53-man roster. Our votes go to Howard, Clement, Sanders, and Josh Adams.

We also expect a couple of additions to the practice squad, seeing as how we’re discussing the NFL’s most punishing position.

The wide receivers (6)

Nelson Agholor, JJ Arcega-Whiteside, Shelton Gibson, Mack Hollins, DeSean Jackson, Alshon Jeffery

Verdict:

That’s a lineup that looks doggone good on paper. Just picture DeSean Jackson and Alshon Jeffery on the outside, the possibility of mixing Agholor and Hollins in at the slot, and throwing Gibson (if he develops) and Arcega-Whiteside in during situational moments.

If the outside guys can stretch the field, and we know they can, Philly should be able to beat you deep and create opportunities for some very good playmakers underneath.

The tight ends (3)

Zach Ertz, Dallas Goedert, Richard Rodgers

Verdict:

Ertz and Goedert are shoo-ins. You know that right? Rodgers is the best of the guys who remain. After final cuts are made, expect Will Tye or Joshua Perkins to be added to the practice squad.
