Offensive tackle, Halapoulivaati Vaitai

Some of the theories coming out of the Novacare Complex these days support the theory that if ‘Big V’ doesn’t prove he can play multiple positions along the offensive line, his time in Philly may be winding down. Sometimes, it feels like we never forgave Vaitai for the games he struggled in early in his career.

At other times, it feels like with a new kind on the block who may be just as talented or even more talented, rookie Andre Dillard, Vaitai may have drifted into the category of expendable.

Offensive guard, Stefen Wisniewski

As good as ‘Wiz’ is, something about this doesn’t make us feel like he’s totally safe and certain of a roster spot. An injury or an unexpected explosion from one of the younger guys could change everything.

We believe he makes the roster, but then again, you never know. Even if he’s among the final 53 men remaining, he may be auditioning for anything that comes after that.

Center, Anthony Fabiano

We just can’t talk ourselves into it. Jason Kelce will make the roster. Philly’s got interior linemen who can play center if need be. We’ve been totally wrong before, but it’s hard to envision Fabiano making the roster.
