26. Houston Texans: Zach Brown, LB

Like Malik Jackson, Zach Brown joined the Eagles through free agency this offseason. Coming to Philly marks the fourth landing spot for Brown in his career. He got his NFL start with the Tennesee Titans as a second-round draft pick. In this case, the Texans were better off grabbing Zach Brown over their actual pick, Whitney Mercilus.

Not too many Eagles fans are all that familiar with Brown. For most of his career, he’s played in the AFC. But we did get acquainted with him when he played with the Washington Redskins over the last two seasons. While Washington wasn’t all that great, Brown was a bright spot for them. Unfortunately for him, his contract was a bit expensive, and they needed to turn a page.

The Eagles ended up seizing a great opportunity. They needed a veteran linebacker to compete for this year, and they got one with Brown.
