9. LeGarrette Blount

For one marvelous season, Blount threw on an Eagles jersey and ran over and around defenders. When he was done, he had posted 766 rushing yards and two touchdowns on 173 carries and 50 yards and another touchdown on eight receptions in the regular season.

That was followed by 130 yards on 29 attempts during Philly’s Super Bowl push. More importantly, he reached the end zone in all three of those games.

He was a cap casualty who lives in the hearts of Eagles fans forever after ‘The Birds’ hoisted the Lombardi trophy, but once he signed with the Detroit Lions, he never found his way into a focal point of their offense.

In 2018, Blount ran for 418 rushing yards and five touchdowns on the ground. To many running backs, that’s a dream season. For Blount, it’s a drop off. Now, last season’s numbers have some wondering if the 32-year-old running back is, finally, starting to fall victim to the stress of ‘Father Time’.

10. Connor Barwin

Barwin’s name finds its’ way onto the list despite all the talk of him possibly returning to the Eagles roster. You’ve heard the phrase before. People lie. Numbers don’t.

Since leaving the Eagles, Barwin’s spent time on both the Los Angeles Rams and the New York Giants rosters. He’s played in 29 games, started in 16 and posted a grand total of 46 total tackles and six sacks.

Sure, the idea of bringing him back to Philly sounds nice; but at this point, we all may want to acknowledge, honestly, that Barwin was a great player. Every Eagles fan loves him, but he may be a few years past his prime. ‘The Birds’ have a nice mix of young pass rushers they may need to get serious about bringing along. There’s no need to crowd things by bringing Barwin back.
