Recently, Nelson Agholor took the field to do some work with Pro Football Hall of Fame inductee Randy Moss.

All of the talk about potential trades hasn’t gotten Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Nelson Agholor down. As a matter of fact, it seems to have made him even more intense. Recently, Philly’s former first-round selection got some work in his hometown of Tampa with a Pro Football Hall of Fame inductee and what may be one of the ten greatest receivers we’ve ever seen, Randy Moss.

Once upon a time, amidst rumors of a lack of desire and a shabby work ethic, those of us who actually were paying attention noticed something. There weren’t any of Moss’ teammates saying that he was lazy.

Here’s something that most football fans and the media learned quite some time ago. If you want to know who a guy is for real, ask his teammates and coaches. Take Cris Carter for instance. He’s also a Hall of Fame inductee and a former teammate of Moss’. Every time he brought him up, it was to discuss how hard he worked and how gifted he was, even as a rookie.

That should have been enough for most of us. Sure, most of us talk about him taking a play off here or there or his desire to, occasionally, work just hard enough to get open two or three times a game, but think about it.

None of us really go all out for the eight hours we’re at work either. Who are we to complain?

With that being said, any news that an Eagles wideout is working out with the likes of Mr. Moss is going to get some burn, so when Chris Neyenhouse of FOX 13 in Tampa was nice enough to provide some footage, we all turned attentive ears and two eyes in that direction. He was also nice enough to provide footage.

Who even knew these guys were this close? Irregardless, this alone will get ‘Birds’ fans excited about another season of Eagles football (as if you needed another reason).

The memory of the guy who lined up offsides for long touchdown catch and runs by Zach Ertz are distant memories. So are the constant drops. Now, they only serve as a chapter of an underdog story. Philly seems to like those.

If we can get past trade rumors and a training camp injury free, this should be another big year out of the slot for Nelson Agholor. He’s got a lot of money riding on this one. We’re sure Mr. ‘Straight Cash Homie’ told him that when the cameras weren’t on.
