Andrew Sendejo, S

Unlike the first couple of prospects, Pederson went on to name an established veteran to his list of camp standouts so far. Here, we’ve got former Minnesota Vikings safety, Andrew Sendejo. Like most players who are in their 30s, Sendejo landed himself a one-year deal.

As he’s dealt with his fair share of injuries over the years, his durability makes it hard to lock him into a multi-year contract. Plus, the Eagles just needed a third safety to rotate in on individual plays. Basically, Sendejo becomes the new Corey Graham.

The Eagles have some young safeties with high upside on the team, but so far it’s become clear that Sendejo’s veteran experience is outweighing the youngsters’ potential. If Sendejo were to struggle this offseason, there’s absolutely no guarantee the Eagles would’ve kept him on board. But that’s not the case here. He’s shown that he belongs thus far.
