The Philadelphia Eagles will kick off the 2019 NFL Preseason on Thursday. Which veterans are entering a make or break offseason?

The 2019 NFL Preseason is a day away. On Thursday, the Philadelphia Eagles will light up Lincoln Financial Field for the second time in a few days — but this time to host an actual game. Granted, the game won’t count for anything, but just because it doesn’t mean anything for the Eagles actual 2019 record, doesn’t mean it’s meaningless to other players.

The preseason is more than just a four-week warmup for players who are gearing up for the new season. It also allows a good chunk of the guys on the 90-man roster to state a case to make the team. And even if they don’t make specifically make the team they are trying out for, what they put on display could take notice of other organizations and land said player elsewhere.

Here we won’t discuss the potential young standouts though. Instead, we will take a look at which five veterans are entering a make or break preseason. The criteria here will be that the veteran player has to have been on the Eagles 53-man roster for at least an entire season (Injured Reserve counts as well). Therefore, we avoid mentioning the obvious players. Let’s get to it.
